In a quaint seaside setting with impressive views of the fjord and mountains, is Hotel Framnes, built on the site of an old fishermen's hut.
Hotel Framnes has a fully-licensed restaurant and bar. The cosy dining room seats up to 60 and serves home baked bread, fresh seafood delicacies and Icelandic lamb dishes as well as succulent desserts. Vegetarians are also catered for.
Room sizes range from single to family rooms for 4 persons. West facing rooms have a view of the beautiful mountains embracing the village and those facing east have a view of the sea.
For relaxation guests can make the use of the sauna, hot tub and massage chair. Guests can also take part in exclusive boat trips to nearby Melrakkaey Island to spot the much sought-after puffins, or do a bit of fishing.
